HYCON-ID is a complete solution for the capture and storage of microbiological sample data. Current regulatory guidelines require extensive documentation to substantiate an Environmental Monitoring Program. Information typically collected includes the location, user, type and lot number of agar media used, expiration date, serial number of the instrument, sampling volume and date and time of sample.
By offering a wireless solution to replace this component of the EM process, you are able to save time and money and reduce user errors typically associated with paper based systems.

- Barcode scanner with rechargeable batteries
- Bluetooth adapter with Communication Software on CD-ROM

Besides the kit a PC (System is validated for Windows XP.), a Microbial Airborne Sampler RCS High Flow (Article No. 940 216) and Agar Strips with barcode labels are needed. Since June 2007 all gamma-irradiated Agar Strips include barcodes.
