The Biotest air samplers (RCS) that have been well known and esteemed for decades work on Reuter’s tried and tested centrifugal impaction principle. This causes the airborne organisms to be thrown very effectively but gently, at low impact speeds of only 1 – 7 m/sec., onto the agar strips.
