A reliable tool for environmental monitoring
 
The Hygiene Screening System provides a fast and specific method for identifying environmental isolates in the pharmaceutical industry. The genera Staphylococcus, Micrococcus, and Corynebacterium account for approximately 80 percent of all microorganisms isolated from samples derived from the pharmaceutical environment (air, surface, personnel). The method based on real-time PCR technology uses different fluorescence channels for a stepwise assignment to one of these genera within a single reaction
