The Hygiene Monitoring Product Division, which includes Biotest’s HYCON® products, the particle counters from Biotest Diagnostic Corporation and products from our subsidiary company Heipha Dr. Müller GmbH in Heidelberg, is responsible for a wide range of instruments and reagents with which particle counts in the air and the microbial contamination of the air and working surfaces can be determined. Quality and efficiency are the keynotes in the specifications of our hygiene control solutions, as in all Divisions of Biotest.

The pharmaceutical industry in particular is under an obligation to monitor closely the cleanliness of its manufacturing facilities and to record the results. Biotest can offer specific products for monitoring Clean Rooms in pharmaceutical production.

All agar media are supplied with a certificate specific to each batch giving particulars of the type and growth properties of the test organisms.
